| Well I think given the disparity in available free features between
Xanga and Myspace I know which is going to survive into the near future
and which is not... however for the few of you who continue to only
have Xanga I will try to continue to post... sometimes .
SO..... I graduated!!!! it was awesome too! mostly project grad
actually... the ceremony was mildly boring since it's my 4th year
going... (what with band and choir) but I sang a solo during the
ceremony... part of the song "In My Life" by the Beatles, and it was
definitely my best run through... just sort of managed to pull talent
and courage out of some deep dark hole that I should look at more often
or whatever.
Then the really crummy part happened... I had to be
at work by 10:30 saturday morning after project grad.... that was
brutal. So I got home and went to sleep by about 5 (after being
awake for about 22 1/2 hours) slept for five hours and then went to
work where I got to deal with an ex-boxer... 2-freaking-second-fuse
pain in the butt patron that I didn't feel like dealing with due to
exhaustion, due to headache... so I cheerfully passed him on to my
supervisors (That's why they get the bigger bucks... bigger than I get
at least) and they eventually called the police so that the crazy guy
and a "law officer" could have a little heart-to-heart... needless to
say he wasn't quite so vocal afterwards...
So this week I'm working 6 shifts over four days
(I'm not working wednesday at all...) and next week I'm working all
five days... fun fun. Actually it's incredibly boring, but oh
well. I'm definitely going to find a new job next summer so I
don't go totally insane... Well it's after 11 and I have to be up
by 8:45 tomorrow so I'll write more later... in a week or so
probably. In the meantime i'll be busy surfing through everyone
else's myspace... fun times.
Tootles kids!!!

| Hmmm.... I guess everyone's right and Xanga really is dying... ah
well. Perhaps a renewal when most of us go off to college and
never see each other? Keep everyone up to date wot? lol

| Well, the last concert for both band and choir was today... it's a sad
really... all the people that i'll hardly ever see again, the
friendships with current underclassmen that I won't be able to
develop... some of them are pretty cool kids, but you never know
right? I could end up talking to them all the time.
There's only 11 more days of highschool left for
me!!!!!!! totally exciting! I'm not sure how I'm going to
deal with not seeing the friends I've made, but I'm sure that I'll make
tons of friends at pacific, I mean I already have two and I've only
been there two or 3 times.
School's pretty well pointless like Sheri already
said... all my classes are sans final except for a little
project, most of which I've finished already. So pretty much I
can look forward to 11 days of blah. Pool party, or card party,
or dance party, or food party, or any kind of party anyone?
Quick! before I have to start working! :) Well that's enough for
now. I'm tired and I need to start heading for bed.

| Well on 4 1/2 hours of sleep and at 11:45 it's difficult to decide
whether I should go to bed or go on a grump trip. I think sleep
wins out, but suffice to say that I feel really depressed and I can't
tell if it's my body telling me I need a lot more rest and vitamins or
I'm going to relapse... or if it's my brain ranting about my own
personal brand of stupidity. Suffice to say it's all-around bleh.

| Prom night was awesome!!!!!!!!!!
I say prom night because the music at the actual
dance was too loud... and mostly really annoying: Rap and Hip-Hop
that's difficult to dance to and morally painful to consider the
message that most of those songs are sending.
Dinner at Andy's house went really really well
though. The food was excellent, the price was right, and it was a
lot more relaxed than it might otherwise have been.
Then going to carrow's even though everyone was too
full and tired to be very hungry and that crashing at Andy's house
again... going in the hot tub, which felt good on abused feet and sore
muscles, watching part of Back to the Future 3, so now I can say that
I've seen part of it, even if I haven't seen all of what was shaping up
to be the best of the trilogy... considering that John hasn't
seen any of them perhaps we'll have to get together between now and
August to fix both those problems....? Breakfast this morning was
really awesome: Andy made pancakes and cre^pes with strawberries,
nutella and whipcream! Then we were going to start playing
spades, woot! but I realized that I really had to go so me and my mom
could do some shopping for my dad's birthday which was Thursday, so for
those of you that I didn't tell that's the only reason I didn't stay
longer. Too bad family and friends have to be balanced... there
should be time for both... without the decisions part . Ah well, spades party later maybe?
Generally talking to Steph was good: about Pacific
(apparently UoP isn't allowed anymore 'cause University of Phoenix are
a bunch of dorks and sued because they think they had the acronym
first.) and college and lifey stuff in general: movies, scouts (or
brothers in scouts), fun stuff .
So yeah, I think that covers most of the weekend up to this point... Choir trip tomorrow ,
REALLY don't want to go all day and sit around in my tux and eat vegan
food of dubious reality for lunch and dinner. Then a week of
frantically trying to memorize the march and get back into marching for
the Rose Parade on Saturday which also doesn't sound like a lot of fun
right now.... Ah well. And pretty much coasting to a halt in all
my academic classes, though I have to write and prepare my "personal
philosophy" for friday. And look up when my presentation is due
for Handmaid's Tale and actually READ that section for a change.
Well that's enough chatter for now. So long you crazy cats!
